革模型キット

革製模型キットシリーズは、「組み立てる縁起物」を基本コンセプトに制作しています。私たちは自分の手で縁起物を作ることが、模型を組み立てる人の願いや想いを形にする新しい験担ぎの方法だと考えました。 縁起物は、幸運を呼び込む日本の伝統的なアイテムです。縁起物には、それぞれに意味や願いが込められています。例えば、「ふくろう」は商売繁盛や金運を、「きんぎょ」は豊かさや子宝を、「ことり」は幸せや平和を象徴していると言われています。 自分の幸せだけでなく、家族や友人の幸せも思いながら模型製作を楽しめることは、とてもポジティブで素敵だと考えて作りました。革模型キットは、4〜5パーツ程度で構成される小さくて簡単なキットから、1０〜13パーツ程度で構成される大きくて作りごたえのあるキットまで、様々な種類のキットがあり、それぞれに縁起物の意味が込められています。キットの大きさは、約10cmから20cmほどで、手のひらに収まるサイズです。

The leather model kit series is based on the concept of “making lucky charms”. We thought that making lucky charms with our own hands would be a new way of wishing and expressing our hopes and feelings through assembling models. Lucky charms are traditional Japanese items that attract good fortune. Each lucky charm has its own meaning and wish. For example, “owl” represents business prosperity and money luck, “goldfish” represents abundance and fertility, and “bird” represents happiness and peace. We thought it would be very positive and wonderful to enjoy making models while thinking about not only our own happiness, but also the happiness of our family and friends. The leather model kits range from small and easy kits consisting of 4 to 5 parts, to large and satisfying kits consisting of 10 to 13 parts, and each kit has a lucky charm meaning. The size of the kits is about 10cm to 20cm, and they fit in the palm of your hand.

どのキットも、組立解説書と組立の縫い方の解説書が入っています。日本語と英語の二か国語で書かれています。 もし組み立て解説書の組み立て方が分からなくても、組立動画を用意していますので、QRコードのリンク先の動画をご覧になりながら制作いただけます。 また、組立に使用する革製パーツは、すべて成形済みです。パーツごとに、針穴が所定位置に穴が開いた状態で構成されているので、プラモデルのように、下処理は不要です。とても丈夫なパーツでありながら、ゴムの様に柔軟性が有るので踏んだりしても壊れず怪我の心配もありません。 接着剤を使わず、先丸針と糸を使って、パーツ同士を縫い合わせながら組み立てていくので、仕上がりに納得いただけるまで、何度もやり直せます。

We are particular about the ease of making. Each kit comes with an assembly manual and a sewing manual. They are written in both Japanese and English. If you don’t understand how to assemble from the assembly manual, we have prepared assembly videos, so you can make them while watching the videos from the QR code link. Also, all the leather parts used for assembly are pre-formed. Each part has holes in the predetermined positions, so you don’t need any preprocessing like plastic models. The parts are very sturdy, but flexible like rubber, so you don’t have to worry about breaking or injuring them even if you step on them. You can assemble the parts by sewing them together with a round needle and thread, without using glue. You can redo it as many times as you like until you are satisfied with the finish.

従来、プラモデルなどの模型キットは完成後、お部屋に飾り眺めることで、仕上がりの満足感と、新たな模型作りへの制作意欲につながります。従来の模型キットと違って、革模型キットは、作品を使ったり、アレンジしたりできるという新しい楽しみ方ができます。私たちは、このような新しい組み立てる意味を加えたいと思い作りました。 「レザークラフトと模型製作の融合。革で作る縁起物の模型キット。自分の願いや想いを形にする新しい験担ぎの方法です。」 これは、革模型キットのコンセプトです。レザークラフトは、財布、コインケース、ペンケースや、ポーチ などを革で制作し、完成後は作品を活用できるので、プラモデルと同じく制作を楽しめる趣味であり、作り上がっても、「使うこと」を体験出来ます。 作品を使うことができるという特徴は、革模型キットにも取り入れられています。革模型キットによって、使い方が異なりますが、「ふくろうとみみずく」、「きんぎょ」には、鍵など小さなものを収納できるスペースが設けられています。これにより、玄関に飾って使うことができます。「ことり」には、ホックが取り付けられるのでバッグチャームやキーホルダーなどにアレンジできます。これにより、身につけて楽しむことができます。私たちは、このようにして、身近に感じられる革模型キットを作りました。

Unlike traditional model kits, leather model kits allow you to enjoy them in a new way, such as using or arranging them. We wanted to add this new meaning to assembling. “Leather craft and model making fusion. Leather model kits that make lucky charms. Leather craft is a hobby that allows you to enjoy making things such as wallets, coin cases, pen cases, and pouches with leather, and use them after completion, just like plastic models. You can also experience “using” them after making them. The feature of being able to use the works is also incorporated in the leather model kits. Depending on the leather model kit, the way of using them differs, but “owl and horned owl” and “goldfish” have a space where you can store small things such as keys. This allows you to use them by displaying them at the entrance. “Bird” has a hook attached, so you can arrange it as a bag charm or key holder. This allows you to enjoy wearing them. We made leather model kits that you can feel close to you in this way.
